The Order of Indomitus, the GAUNTLET of service events

The Order of Indomitus is a weekend-long, world-famous service event running since 2015. It was the first high-protocol, multiple-day servitude event in the US. It has since inspired many lifestyle groups, and some women have created their own events in the spirit of Indomitus. Our next event is Oct 2026, and only people who pass the application process, receive our exact dates.

Besides high-protocol and lots of service, the event is full of lots of femdom fun. We have games and activities that are always optional, such as pony cart races and pony cart rides, the slave hunt, and our famous egg hunt, among others, and evening femdom parties.

Some people don't like the pain some games involve (like getting hit with paintballs we shoot with slingshots at you, which can cause nickel to quarter-sized bruises). Others have certain health issues or are recovering from recent injuries or surgeries and can't run around. You get it. Nobody is ever upset if someone doesn't want to play a game for whatever reason, or taps out early if they do try it. When men first come to Indomitus, they're sometimes upset that they can't WIN a game like the pony cart races or find hardly any eggs at the egg hunt. They get really down about it. They end up realizing after the event that none of that even matters; the games are just for fun and aren't for winning our favor. When they return, they are in better spirits when they play games.

Indomitus is an event that was created to be the ultimate test of servitude. In other words, if you can get through an event like that, you can serve anybody in most any situation. It's almost the "servitude gauntlet." This is why we give each of you an identification number, and it's that number we call you by during the event, not your name. But you must EARN that number by serving well over the weekend; otherwise, it will be taken away and assigned to someone else at the next event, who will try to earn that number.

What criteria make a service sub serve well in our eyes and earn their number?

  1. Mistakes will happen; how will you handle them? This means that even though you will make mistakes, your whole heart was in it, and you tried as hard as you could, meant well, and really were a good sport. Do people make mistakes? Of course! ALL THE TIME! It's how they correct them and keep going that matters. We can tell the difference between someone with the right attitude who is really trying from their whole heart, and someone there with the wrong attitude.

  2. Serving the Mistresses who buy you at auction. Part of being a service sub is serving people you wouldn't expect to serve. Often, you do this in a regular service environment with your Mistress, where you might have to serve a friend of hers who is visiting or a group of women at a femdom event.

If you were my personal sub back home and I loaned you to my Mistress friend for the day, and you came to her studio and helped her clean it and obeyed her commands, you would be serving her (as an extension of me, of course). As a service sub, one can't be greedy and expect to always serve the 1 Mistress they might belong to. They need to make her proud by serving others if needed. Indomitus tests this. On Friday, you are auctioned off to the lineup of eager Mistresses who bid on you. Whoever purchases you is who you must serve that day. Your focus is only on the 1 Mistress. The following morning, she auctions you off again. Another Mistress will purchase you, and you have to serve her Saturday. Sunday, the event ends at noon, so there are no auctions. If you are there with a Mistress who you serve or who owns you, we do not buy our owned subs on purpose. We want them to get the experience serving another Mistress we admire. By serving another Mistress, you get to learn about that Mistress, her personality, what she likes, and how she likes to be served, and how to serve someone else in a different capacity than what you are used to. They are very patient and know that you likely have never met them before, and help you along. Do we ever purposely take our own subs for the day and not let them be sold at auction at all? Yes, but only in 1 very specific circumstance. The circumstance is that the sub has already attended Indomitus prior and earned their number already. They have already been through the whole "gauntlet." So they don't have to prove themselves again and again by serving others, and if a Mistress and sub barely get to spend any time together normally, a Mistress will request that she take her sub Friday or Saturday, for example. Otherwise, a Mistress is never allowed to purchase her own sub/have her own sub.

  3. The sub has to show emotional maturity in the face of difficulties. This goes for being corrected by a Mistress for making a mistake and taking it well. This goes for seeing a Mistress who owns you and is attending the event, being served by other subs, and not letting jealousy get the best of you.

Auctions:How does a Mistress determine she wants to buy you? Thursday before the event starts, we have an important dinner (just the Mistresses). We bring up event details and then go over all of the subs who are attending. Their kinky interests, and of course their limits and any health issues/injuries or limitations we should be aware of to make sure they stay safe. So when the auction happens, you are already fresh in their minds. Women tend to want to buy subs who they have the most in common with kink-wise (health issues or injuries, etc don't matter at all in this decision). So if you like impact play and ball-busting (just an example), a Mistress who delights in those activities will want to buy you. Often, Mistresses will try to outbid one another, which is kind of fun for me to watch. We never had a bad match. We have had men who told me later on that they were nervous or unsure of who bought them, and then ended up over the moon and really enjoyed the Mistress very much. That's very common to hear. I pick really great Mistresses.

The Mistresses often buy 2 servants per day. Sometimes there's an imbalance in attendee numbers, and a few subs end up serving a Mistress 1-on-1, on one of the 2 auction days. People who have never attended an event wonder how 1 Mistress juggles this and whether one servant will be left out if the Mistress has 2. They are shocked to learn that it works out really well. The event is so busy, there are so many tasks, so many games, so much happening that she has both of you working for her quite a lot. There are times when she chooses to play with 1 sub during downtime because the other sub has to go do the job assigned to him, which takes him away from her for an hour or 2. Then the opposite happens when the other sub has to go and do his job. Sometimes she plays with one sub a little more in the day hours, and shifts to playing more with her other sub in the evening hours. This all happens very naturally. Sometimes a Mistress "saves some of you" for the Mistress who might have you the next day. For example if you enjoy ballbusting and impact play and some other things, she may do a few of those things, and save some for the Mistress who buys you the following day. This is often said when she sells you off on Saturday to the new Mistress: "As you can see, I whipped his back up pretty good last night, but I saved his ass for someone else who wants to finish the job!" an example.

Speaking of the job assigned to him, let's talk about that. All of the subs are assigned a job ahead of time, weeks before the event begins. They know what they will be responsible for at the event. We always give a job that we know the sub can handle. For example, subs who are excellent cooks are responsible for making meals. Subs who are excellent with latex care might be on latex wardrobe washing duty. A sub might be the dishwasher after Friday night and Saturday night dinners. Another sub might be doing the breakfast dishes. Another sub might be making the giant pot of coffee every morning. There are various jobs. Sometimes 2 subs are on the same job because it's a lengthy job that should have 2 people doing it together, working as a team.

The jobs keep the event running properly, like a well-oiled machine.

Subs are initiated into our Order who have completed the weekend with a fire lit ritual. At our former location, it was legendary.

On Sunday, we say goodbye to the subs when the event ends. We line up the subs and thank them for their service. Many kind words. A lot of tears. All the subs leave with a slave tag with their number on it and the event date that they wear around their neck. You will see subs already wearing theirs during the event who had already earned it at a prior event, and those who don't have one yet. Subs wear theirs to other femdom events and kinky functions, and sometimes when serving their Mistress back home as a badge of honor. Many kinky folks will ask them about it at other events and parties when they wear it. It is cool for them to say that they went to Indomitus, as many have heard of this legendary event. Their number will always be their identity should they return to OOI, and many of them like their number so much, that they are called their number on a regular basis outside of Indomitus by Mistresses.

What makes servitude at Indomitus so intense? Besides the 3 situations we already stated, Indomitus is a highly active event with a packed schedule. It runs servants ragged, even with breaks and rest, and truly tests the limits of their abilities with patience, guidance, and sometimes a firm hand. It instills the idea that when they approach service in a different setting back home, real, actual service can be hard, and we must figure out a way to push through it, as lame excuses should not be given or tolerated.

Despite how intense the event is, subs are cared for, shown aftercare, looked after, and reminded to care of themselves and protect their own health and mental state during such a difficult, fun, thrilling, erotic and very deeply meaningful process.

Many who have attended OOI, have reported taking more risk in their lives and being much braver in situations in their jobs and overall their lives. Others have began the healing process from past traumatic BDSM events which had given them severe trauma and PTSD. They learn to trust and experience kink again, and that there are real, caring people who dominate others safely.

Would you survive the femdom weekend?
